SESSION PRICE
The rate for a standard 50 minute session is $260, which is less than the Australian Psychological Society recommended fee of $300. which must be paid in full at the time of your appointment. You can review the cancellation policy here.
MEDICARE
If you have a Medicare card and live in Australia, you may be eligible to receive Medicare rebates under the Better Access scheme for up to 10 sessions in a calendar year (from January to December). The rebate for Clinical Psychologists is $137.05 per 50 minute session.
In order to receive a Medicare rebate, you need to have a valid referral (Mental Health Care Plan) from a GP, psychiatrist or a paediatrician. You can claim the rebate yourself following your appointment using the Medicare app, or we can process it for you provided we have a copy of the referral and your medicare card details.
NDIS
I am not a registered NDIS provider, but you can use your plan to pay for services with me.

PRIVATE HEALTH
Some session costs can also be offset against Private Health Extras Cover - rebates vary according to your level of coverage.
I do not process private health claims but can provide you with an invoice with the required information for you to claim with your provider.
LETTERS AND REPORTS
Any requests for letters to be completed outside the session incur an additional fee. Please note Mat does not conduct assessments for Autism or ADHD, and cannot provide court reports.
